The role

You will deliver structured BSL teaching to adult learners, supporting confidence, clarity, and practical communication. You’ll plan and deliver British Sign Language teaching that responds to the needs of your learners. This includes preparing sessions, adapting your approach for different learning styles, and supporting learners’ progress through clear, appropriate assessment. You’ll take responsibility for the quality of your teaching and contribute to the ongoing development of Sign Flow’s courses and materials.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Level 6 in British Sign Language

  • Study of BSL Linguistics

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location: London (in-person and remote , across partner venues)

Contract: Freelance

The role

You will provide British Sign Language interpreting support across Sign Flow’s teaching, events, and partner-led experiences. This includes interpreting in public-facing, social, and cultural settings, supporting clear communication between Deaf and hearing participants where required.

You’ll work alongside Deaf practitioners, relay interpreters, teachers, and experience leads, adapting your interpreting approach to different environments and group sizes. You’ll be expected to maintain professional standards, prepare appropriately for assignments, and contribute to high-quality, inclusive delivery.

Requirements

  • Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI) or Trainee Sign Language Interpreter (TSLI)

  • Strong experience interpreting in live, in-person settings

  • Excellent professional judgement and communication skills

  • Comfortable working in dynamic, public environments

  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

Location: London (in-person, across partner venues)

Contract: Freelance

The role

You will lead and run immersive British Sign Language experiences delivered across partner venues, guiding groups through day trips and curated activities conducted entirely in BSL

You’ll be responsible for facilitating communication, setting the tone for full language immersion, and supporting participants to engage confidently through visual communication. This includes welcoming groups, managing the flow of each experience, and ensuring participants understand expectations around voices-off and visual-first interaction.

You will work closely with Sign Flow to deliver high-quality, consistent experiences.

Requirements

  • Native British Sign Language users with lived experience of Deaf culture

  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage groups in public, social, or cultural settings

  • Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently
